The Lo typeface made its debut in 1914 as a narrow semibold, together with a non-corresponding italic. We think that its creator Louis Oppenheim is still unjustly overshadowed by Lucien Bernhard, who also designed typefaces with wobbly contours. The contour of the Lo typeface wobbles so much that even our Simplex Platen cannot harm it.
