Hartmut Esslinger is a German-American industrial designer and inventor. He is best known for founding the design consultancy frog and his work for Apple Computers in the early 1980s.
A rebel in the industry, he made his mark all over Silicon Valley and the rest of the world. He also made his mark on us designers.
We honor Hartmut with this limited edition poster as a reminder of how to approach our life and work.

The limited edition run of 50 posters was set in Akzidenz Grotesk halbfett Plakadur 20 cic and printed by Susanna Dulkinys on a Korrex Berlin Spezial Kraft in a split fountain of ink colors, blue, yellow and magenta.

The original axiom came from Louis Sullivan (1856–1924), a Chicago-based architect known for his steel frame constructions considered the earliest skyscrapers. He famously said "form follows function" as a touchstone for young architects.
